How to Create a Work Request Based on an Asset

You might spot a problem/issue in an Asset at your place. In that case, you can create a Work Request based on the related Asset.

After selecting the required Asset, you have to add the Problem identified in the relevant Asset.

 

Two Ways of Adding the Problem of the Selected Asset

There are two ways to add the Problem identified in the selected asset to the Work Request:

  1. By selecting the relevant Error Code from the pre-configured Error Codes for the selected asset.
  2. By simply selecting the relevant Service Category and the Problem.
    If you do not know the exact Error Code of the relevant asset, switch to this method.

 

How to Select an Error Code

Error Code is a code used to identify and determine the nature of an error that occurs in an Asset, aiding technicians in accurately diagnosing and resolving reported issues in Work Requests. If you know the error in the relevant Asset, you can select the Error Code from the pre-configured list of Error Codes and continue with creating the Work Request.
